What Are Affiliate Links?

When you click certain links on ToolPick and subsequently purchase or subscribe to a product or service, we may receive a commission. These are called "affiliate links." You can identify them by the rel="sponsored" attribute in our HTML, and we always open them in new tabs.

The commission we receive does not increase the price you pay. In many cases, our affiliate links provide you with special discounts or extended free trials not available elsewhere.

How Commissions Affect Our Reviews

They don't. Here's how we ensure our editorial independence:

• Our ratings and rankings are determined before we consider affiliate economics
• We will recommend a free product over a paid one if it's the better choice
• We recommend products we don't have affiliate relationships with when they're the best option
• We cannot increase a product's rating or improve its position in a roundup for any compensation
• No product can pay to be featured or reviewed
